THE YELLOWSTONE ADVENTURE

One of the places that we have been to few times and spent four summers at (at least I did), Yellowstone truly is a wonderland. The National Park is the approximately 1/10th of the size of Austria, but as the part of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, the size is comparable to the one of the entire Austria (I know, weird example, lets move along).

Yellowstone National Park was the first National Park in the world, established on March 1st 1872, and for a long period, it was the biggest national park in the US. It contains (arguably) the largest building in the world made out of logs, the iconic Old Faithful Inn.

The thing this amazing place is mostly known about is its pristine nature, abundance of wildlife and many, many, many termal features, such as hotsprings, mudsprings, geysers, and thermal pools.

Recreation in the Park is a very big thing, and many people go on hikes, cycling trips or horseback riding. There are so many amazing places in Yellowstone, you can go there for several years and you still will not see everything. Even then, with the speed the thermal features change, the things you saw will not look the same.

In the next several blogs, we will try to tell you everything you need to know about Yellowstone, where to go, what to see, where to see it and when.

So follow our footprints and stay tuned!
