WORKING IN YELLOWSTONE – DREAM OR TROUBLE?

As we mentioned already in previous posts, Josip and I were working in Yellowstone National Park. Throughout our stay there we worked at few different jobs, dealt with different situations, and since many people are considering going to Yellowstone and working there, we decided to write a post to help you decide.

WORK&TRAVEL PROGRAM – MAKE YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE

United States – a dream destination for many people. Josip and I always wanted to go there, to see how it is on the other side of the pond, to learn about the culture, traditions, visit all those famous places, and of course, to practice English. For me, it was always just a big dream…

YELLOWSTONE WONDERS

As we said in the post about Yellowstone, apart from Old Faithful and Mammoth village, in Yellowstone you can also visit: Lake Village, Canyon Village and Grand Village. They are in a driving distance from each other, so it is good to have your own car. You can also try to hitchhike because, first of all, it is legal in the park, and second of all, people are usually very nice and they will try to help you as much as they can.

MAMMOTH HOT SPRINGS – ROTTEN EGGS AND HORNY ELKS

Mammoth Village, the first village you can visit if you enter Yellowstone NP from the north entrance, is a very interesting destination to explore. From very smelly hot springs and territorial bull elks to amazing views from the roads and mountaintops, it has it all!

It is one of the most famous nature wonders in the Park and it attracts people with its predictable eruptions, roughly every 90 minutes. The village itself is the biggest of all in the park…

YELLOWSTONE – A TRUE WONDERLAND

Yellowstone and its nature is one of the most beautiful places we have seen so far. There is something about this place that gives tourists a peace of mind. What could be better than wandering around the park, seeing amazing views and taking photos of roaming bison or elk? As it was mentioned in our…

THE YELLOWSTONE ADVENTURE

One of the places that we have been to few times and spent four summers at (at least I did), Yellowstone truly is a wonderland. The National Park is the approximately 1/10th of the size of Austria, but as the part of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, the size is comparable to the one of the…
